Quality ControlQuality Control applicants should be familiar with all components of ISO 9001, 13485, and FDA's 21CFR820 and their application. Having the ability to quickly discern ISO structured documentation within a medical device framework is helpful. Rapid decision making skills for proper Quality Management application at all levels from Contract Review to Product shipment is a must.

Sales/Customer ServiceA Sales/Customer Service Representative applying to BCS Machine should be well-versed in the medical machining industry and have a strong, proven background in sales and customer service. A demonstrated ability to work independently, manage accounts and serve as the accountable front-end for BCS Machine sales is required. This position requires travel.

CNC MachinistsA CNC Machinist applying at BCS should be well versed in multi-axis CNC equipment and controllers. At a minimum a solid understanding of any widely used CAD software package is desireable. The ability to use the resulting CAM programs in order to update programs in situ is also a plus. A demonstrable willingness and desire to work with others as a team is a must.

CNC Operators - Day/Night ShiftsCNC Operators applying at BCS should be familiar with multi-axis CNC equipment and have a rudimentary understanding of G-code. Experience with any CAD software package is a plus. Currently there are openings for all shifts at BCS.

Shipping/ReceivingShipping and Receiving positions at BCS are critical as proper documentation and handling of important items requires attention to detail and follow through. Staff members in these key positions are expected to support multiple facets of the complete medical device shipment preparation life-cycle including: proper cleaning, packaging, recording, and ultimately shipping of the product.

Facilities

BCS maintained a FDA registered manufacturing facility that included: a modern CNC infrastructure, an ISO 13485 registered Quality Management System, proactive engineering support services, and an advanced virtualized computer aided design and manufacturing system. BCS had several decades of experience in manufacturing and design consultation with Class I and Class II devices for medical device OEMs and Hospital research and development organizations.

Services

BCS provided a comprehensive package of manufacturing services for the medical community that was primarily focused on orthopedic devices. Our direct manufacturing, machining and assembly of orthopedic implants and instrumentation for total reconstructive systems was only a portion of what was provided. Additionally, many value-added customer support services were provided throughout the product development life-cycle, including: machining, prototyping, and design consultation.
